Your questions really can't be explained.
I will say that you shouldn't waste your time with the ESPN/USATODAY/COACHESPOLL. Check out the real poll, the AP Poll. It's the only one I use to comment, etc. The sportswriters are generally much better informed than the coaches.
As for Ohio State getting five first-place votes, alot of people believe in the "number one till you are beaten" philosophy. Don't get upset over those points though, as Ohio State may lose as many as three games this year.
