i use a gas stove and it rocks...
be careful about using an older gas stove like jolt's. i bought one of those cool retro gas stoves from the 40s about 2 years ago. i had to light all the pilots. when i went to light the bottom one that's behind a door the gas had accumulated for far too long. i blew myself up. had to go to the emergency room. just facial and one arm with 2nd degree burns. (lost eyebrows, facial hair and all the skin on my nose fell off)
bought a new gas stove and now i'm worry free.
