cough cough, organic fuels, cough cough.
I love fuel cell cars and i love electrics but jesus is the infrastructure hard to setup. Organic fuels are coming down in price, burn cleaner than gas and America just happens to be a wonderful spot to grow soybeans. It is not at all hard to make most modern vehicles organic fuel compliant. To me it seems like a clear solution, but I must be missing some point if everyone is concentrating on fuel cells.
For example I have a one cylinder diesel engine in my lab that we converted to run on waste oil from McDonalds. It makes just as much torque on north philly McDonalds grease as it does with diesel fuel. Amazing.
