I would say in terms of my own daughter. I think 18 should be the limit of course that will depend on her maturity. BUT if she's determined and I feel she's mature enough then I think 16 would be the lowest limit. No matter what birth control choice that a girl makes there is still a small risk of pregnancy. For a girl under 16 to get pregnant is a big risk for her, disrupts her still maturing body, and under 16 she is not even able to support herself financially with a job without her parents consent. If you aren't mature and old enough to raise kids I don't think you should be fooling around. That said I was 24 before having sex and hubby was 21.
