I started off with about an inch completely shaven around the testicles. I also shave the shaft and scrotum clean. It looked kind of strange, so I kept moving farther away until I had gotten most of the long hair removed. I keep about 2" clean around the genitals except on the upper legs and the area below my balls to around my anus. I just don't like the feel of hair down there anymore after I did it. My wife is now much more willing to do oral now which is a big time added plus.
