Those who had weapons when they were younger ...
If your parents didn't have any, how did they react?
Mine seem to think I'm some sort of future psychotic mass-murderer just because I've got a few sets of throwing knives, a bamboo staff, and some Airsoft guns.
When I lived with my parents, I always kept anything remotely hazardous secured and locked, and my younger siblings knew not to snoop around or they'd be in for a world of hurt.
