Ok,

My company is looking to implement a custom SCM system (50M company). All packages we looked at did not work for our needs...

Now I understand each SCM implementation is unique, and many different factors, but we are getting a quote range (so far) from 8MM to 1MM.... and something smells fishy with the big difference. so, what can one expect for the cost of a true SCM implementation?
