could use Open Office to save your resume as a PDF file. Any of the 1.1beta or RC builds have that feature (1.1RC4 is the latest currently and rock solid stable in my experience). That is free, and I am not aware of a free legal version of the acrobat PDF writer software. Feel free to correct me or point something out that I may have missed.
