Running Back Tandems in College Football
This might be a little early to be calling another "Suggs and Jones", but I believe Virginia's RBs are a legimate tandem.
It looks like they might be using Wali Lundy more but as of the stats before today's game.
Pearman 30 Carries 159 Yards 5.3 Average 1 TD
Lundy 30 Carriers 123 Yards 4.1 Average 1 TD
Those are pretty even, of course Lundy has carried it 26 times today opposed to Pearman's 8, but I think VA could effectively use both RBs.
