I'm not a Cubs fan but I would like to see them win the division.
I agree that Alfonseca is crap. Maybe his problem is that sixth finger on each hand and sixth toe on each foot. I bet if they get cut off, he will be awesome.
About Wood, you have to remember that he has thrown a lot of innings this year. Dusty constantly allows him to throw over 120 pitches which will wear a startling pitcher down. He and Prior need strong finishes down the stretch to keep them in contention.
