Clooney was ok.
Keaton was better.
Kilmer was unwatchable.
I think Bale will be alright. I remember him in Shaft and I know he can pull off the dark "Batman" side of the caracter. As long as he remembers there's a slightly softer, slightly confused "Bruce Wayne" side, he'll be fine.
