Yeah the TrailBlazer is a I-6 4 valve DOHC motor, but the 4.8/5.3/6.0/8.1 truck engines are still 2v/OHV. The LS1 and LS6 5.7 Liter engines are also 2v/OHV. And make 400hp. And get 30+ mpg. Now, THAT, my friends, is an economy car.

Took the words right out of my mouth
What happens when a Corvette uses DOHC and multi-vaves-per-cylinder?
The all aluminum designed V8 engine with 4-cams and 32-valves producing 405 hp @ 5,800 rpm and 385 ft lbs @ 4,800 rpm with a redline of 7200 rpm.
Top speed of 180+mph.
And that was back in 1990.
Corvette ZR1, baby!
hehe
And lets take a look at that Trailblazer I-6....DOHC multi-valve-per-cly-engine....275 hp. From a 6-cyl.
Hondas are well built, but ANYTHING will last you forever if you take care of it.
