Well with all things practice makes perfect.
People quite often though only tend to practice on their strengths not their weaknesses. I know who a girl who absolutely refuses to reverse into a space. If she practiced it enough though I'm sure she'd nail it. As she won't practice she'll never be able to do it.
In karate I was taught to practice on your weaknesses more than your strength. That way you achieve balance, expand your options and make your actions less predictable.
