I downloaded some movie files off Kazaa and when I play them in Windoze Media player, it says 'error downloading codec' and then treats them as if they were audio files.

Most likely they're just corrupted files, but I imagine someone else has run into this problem.

Someone told me that you can search for codecs on Kazaa and you can find a program that installs lots of codecs and that might make some of them work. Is this true, and if so, is it safe?
