This is sort of old, but I didn't see any other posts here about it.
Here is the story on The Smoking Gun. Apparently she pissed off at least one hacker.
Personally I find it hilarious. Regardless of what an artist thinks about file sharing, they are trying to sell their product to the people doing it. Why insult them? Just try to work with it.
Our Lady Peace usually releases their songs on P2P early, but they have messages in the middle giving the track and album name. This seems like a good approach to working with P2P to me. I never got pissed at the band - just heard enough of the tracks to know I liked them, and then bought the album.
Just wondering what other people thought about this.
