I tend to eat a lot after I work out, but not immediately after the workout, a few hours later. That's not the way I want to do it, but I just don't have an appetite until after about 5 or 6pm.
I work 2nd shift so I don't usually get up until 10 or 11 am. I usually force myself to eat a small breakfast before I go to workout. Then I try to eat a meal of primarily protein after I work out at 1 or 2 pm. Then I eat again at 5pm. Then dinner around 8pm. Sometimes I can do really good at dinner, other times I start with a good meal, but it just snowballs and I end up eating WAYY too much.
It's funny how I can have my favorite food sitting in front of me at breakfast or lunch, but I still have to force myself to eat. But come about 6 o'clock all I can think about is food. Luckily I've been doing a pretty good job of not eating after I get home from work at 11pm. I find easier to deny myself any food after work, than to try to LIMIT myself to a small meal.
My biggest problem is at nite trying to not gorge myself on a ton of food. I always feel guilty afterwards.
