I have seen "Amelie", "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not", and "Dirty Pretty Things" and i liked all three.
Amelie is my favorite romantic\comedy of all time, one of my favorite movies of all time. Hands down. "My Big Fat Stupid Greek Wedding" wishes it was Amelie.
HLM,HLMN was nothing like i was expecting. From the read on the jacket it seemed like a quirky romantic comedy. What i got was a psycological film that was presented in a facinating way and i never knew what to expect. Great film, you need to see it.
I never looked at Audrey Tatou the same again.
Then with Dirty Pretty Things, she wow'd me playing a Turkish woman and did a great accent. Again, she did not play Amelie. Okwe was great, i loved him as a character and he was suberbly acted. I was hooked by this movie from the opening scenes. It's one of the best of the summer, probably the year.
Also, this title was not translated as far as i know, since it is a British film.
