If you make it to western Ireland, goto the Slieve League cliffs in Donegal. They are supposedly the the highest marine cliffs in Europe. It's a 300 metre drop straight down into the Atlantic (and not much in terms of fences). I went last December. There were really strong winds and it was raining. It was awesome!
