I actually went to a laser hair place and had a "free consultation." Also, I read a little about it beforehand. Basically, hair grows in cycles. Any laser treatments on the hair you see will work, most of the time. For some people, it will not work very well. And the reason for the repeated treatment sessions is to get rid of the hair that do grow out later on. However, there is no guarantee that you'll ever be as smooth as a babies' behind. I have seen before and after photos and there were still hair remaining . I think the media and all the ads have only shown the good side, but spending $400 for lasering the underarm hair (5 treatments at $80 each, which is a good price) is still expensive, especially when or if there is STILL some hair left. If that is the case, I'll stick to tweezing or shaving, since I would have to "tweeze" the remaining hair anyways. Just my thoughts.
