By this point you should consider more than 1 cd since you need to cover a wider period.
London, NYC, LA - that should neatly sum up most of the punk era (except Fugazi & Unwound, etc.) Or try something broader like early punk, 80's punk, & modern punk.
You could also consider branching out to pop-punk like Superchunk's 'Slack Motherfucker'.
