| Setting that jumper correctly will allow the bios to correctly detect his barton's FSB and will show it as the 2800+ when he boots.  Dilbert:  some mobos don't have jumpers like that, they allow you to pick from 100/133/166 in BIOS software alone, which is what you're talking about.  Different mobo manufacturers use different methods.
