If you like the pill, but don't wish to have to remember to take it daily you should look into the patch version or a hormone impregnanted IUD like Mirena.
I agree with you, contact inhibition is a bad thing. It feels so much better without a condom, just remember to only have unprotected sex with someone who you know VERY well and who has been test for HIV.
