You may want to make sure that what ever PC is plugged into port 1 of the router is always on. It's been my experience that some routers.. (not with netgear, mines been rock solid, but d-link and belkin) if you don't have the #1 port active the others will lose internet connectivily. try that.. and also as i saw mentioned to update your firmware definately do that.
