See, that works, but it's also the equivalent of overclocking your processor just to get it to the right speed. The motherboard should detect the correct CPU without changing any settings in BIOS. If it doesn't, then I bet there's a BIOS update for it. The motherboard jumper must be set or it simply won't work.
