Actually I rather enjoy Hey Jude, it's nice. And my taste in music has no bearing on whether or not my opinion of the Beatles' music being shitty is valid.
Elvis sucked- his music is cookie-cutter and largely horrible like the Beatles, but I enjoy a lot of "Rock and Roll", which was first INFLUENCED by him A LONG TIME AGO. Again, just because I hate one doesn't mean I can't like the other.
And influence is just that- taking something and using it towards your own means. I'm sure lots of GOOD artists were influenced by the Beatles, but that doesn't mean they didn't put out shitty music.
And don't attack me for my opinions! I respect everyone else's, no matter how 'rediculous' they might sound to me, and only go after the issue itself.
