hope the thought that this thread was about alien lifeform didn't draw too many of you to be disappointed.

when my brother and i were kids, we had just watched aliens. and to be honest, it quite freaked us out a bit. but you know dumb kids, even though we were scared, we wanted to act out the heroic parts of it. so we grabbed sticks (machine guns) and grabbed a blanket. we both hid under the blanket and pretended some aliens were outside the blanket and we had to shoot them.

then all of a sudden, something prounces on the blanket growling and grabbing the both of us. by now, you can only imagine how scared the both of us were. we started kicking, screaming and yelling. and finally, as if our lilttle sticks were really machine guns, we built up the courage to stick our sticks out of the blanket and point it at the alien that invaded our house, that jumped on top of our protective blanket. we poked out slowly, only to find our mother laughing her ass off. i'm surprised we didn't hurt her while we were kicking.

well, hope you all had as good of a laugh as i had recalling it. it doesn't quite seem to fit in this forum, but it was scary at the time and has to do with being freaked out. so, i guess.
