It doesn't look good for Clarett playing at all this year.
But:
You can't drive a 2001 Monte Carlo "on loan" from an area car dealership and still be an amateur.
You can't repeatedly lie to NCAA investigators.
You can't just get up and walk out of midterms and be a student-athlete.
In his defense:
Michigan's star player assaulted some poor fuck and got a one-game suspension.
So, yes, the system has holes. But Maurice Clarett thumbed his nose at the system the whole offseason. The sad thing is he sees himself as the victim.
All I know is that there are alot of other guys on the Buckeye's team that did not drive luxury automobiles "on loan", worked hard in the classroom, and abided by the rules. These guys probably don't want much to do with a guy that felt he was above the rules. And rightfully so.
