You know what just occured to me?
What we need is a 3-d fighter with EVERY game character EVER made. That way we could settle disputes like this in a sensible fashion.
Think about it. All characters would have every power they normally would at thier disposal, regardless of game balance. That means that yes, if you wanted to play, say, Jill Valentine from RE, you would be equipped with a handgun (maybe the right move could change it to a rocket launcher), whereas if you chose Dante, of Devil May Cry fame, you would be armed with Alastor and a host of nasty demon attack thingies.
You know, I like this idea so much I'm going to make a new thread just for it. Be on the lookout.
