Don't let your ignorance of rap confuse you. Do you know how many other rappers fit that exact description? Ever hear of Talib Kweli? Pharoahe Monch? Binary Star? Clokworx? J-Live? etc. All of them don't rap about money or clothes or women and all of them have a different flow you probably aren't used to hearing. This is because they are real emcees...not any of that bullshit sorry excuse for rhymin you see on T.V. If you like it then research the fuckin underground scene. It's full of emcees like that who do it for the art and not for the cash & women. Is Eminem good and talented? Yes....he's better than quite a few you'll hear even out of the real emcee's but not anymore. When he made Infinite he wasn't writin all the bullshit he writes now...like raping his mother, and killing his wife (that shit is WACK period). This is why he's overrated as fuck now. Everyone thinks he's the best rapper ever and none of them know shit. Thats a real slap in the face to all the people who rhyme just as well and better who don't have the right connections to get themselves on. See people tend to judge talent by record sales which don't mean shit. If you really knew how the record industry worked you'd know why they were making millions and others aren't given the time of day.

I will be honest, I use to keep up with Hip Hop all the time...But there is so many shitty MC's out now it's pathetic..There are only a few MC's that I listen too...And yes I have heard of most of those MC's you listed.
Damn man...Relax alittle, I am into the underground sound of Hip Hop...It blows away the main stream shit. Me saying that I think Eminem is one of the best MC's does not mean I know nothing...I like his style And what he ryhmes about..I have never liked any of his hit singles that get airplay.

I listen to other MC's but those are a few of the main ones that I listen too.
The MC's that you listed I have heard of..Probably even heard there tracks..But own none of thier CD's.
I am more into the Drum N Bass/Jungle scene now...I don't keep up with Hip Hop like I use too...But still listen and appreciate it.
Even after I read that you pretty much told me that I don't know shit about Hip Hop because I listen to Eminem and other rappers that were at thier best in the Underground.
I am still gonna say that I respect people like you who appreciate rap for what it is...it's not about money or fame..It's about doing something that you have a passion for...It's ashame what money has done to alot of MC's.
I am on the same page as you, Your just deeper into it than I am.
I would appreciate if you could give me some names of MC's that you think are keeping it real..I would like to check them out and maybe pick up some of thier stuff.
