I really don't understand what is so hard about ALLOWING people to play without the gameboys. They already have a version available that plays without needing the gameboys so why change that so you need a gameboy? Please explain to me how that is not screwing the consumer? Square and Nintendo can bite me cause there is no way in hell I am going to support shitty business practices like that.

And as to NEEDING the gameboy connected, no way its not necessary. All they need is an improved interface. Thats all. If they just had a translucent menu popup in the corner of a player when they needed to switch equiptment or spells that would work fine.
