The scripted banter sounds forced and comes off as dumb.
The Viewer's Choice Award is dumb--it's simply a measure of how many people shelled out a buck to vote for the singer of their choice.
I would have loved to have seen if not a live performance, at least some clips with sound of Duran Duran.
Too much of the show was cringe-inducing.
