The Ring was the first movie since the Exorcist that scared the crap out of me. But the Exorcist still takes the cake for scariest movie I've ever seen.
Actually Aliens ranks up there probably at number 3. I can remember watching it for the first time when I was like 7. I had the worst nightmares of my life that night. Either on account of the movie or the three pound bag of boston baked beans that I ate... That movie still freaks me out.
