I've got mine pierced just over a year and half now. It was a bit weird gettin pierced but as having nails dug into my back, it felt somewhat sensual, there was minor bleeding, and bear in mind it is merely a piece of skin that gets pierced, (just membrane, no cartilege). This means, it barely hurts, still weird though! It bleeds when you pee for about 5 days, and then you're fine.
As for the benefits, as a man.... You know that climatic feeling you getting inside the shaft just before you come? It's a milder variation of that with every thrust, stroke, lick... It doesnt make you any shorter, or any longer for that matter, but it can definitely make you feel that bit more confident, which is a lot more important...
As for the benefits, as a woman, well, i dunno, you really just gotta try it to see... some like, some dont, most do.
Piercings are great, and the sooner people can accept them as part of our modern culture the better. They've always been around, and they certainly will remain for a while yet. Calling them "sick", "masochistic" and "disgusting" isnt really going to get you anywhere. If it's your cup of tea, go for it, but don't slam what you know nothing about about, one day maybe you'll find out....
