Forgive my amateur psychoanalysis, but based on the fact he's the type of computer user who uses skins on his OS (which one must go out of their way to do on Windows), I'm guessing he's fairly picky about having things the way he wants them
Next time I'm looking on skinning sites for more wallpapers, I'll see if I can find a mention of a way to fix your problem.
