I've done a variety, but don't do anything currently.
First came alcohol and grass in High School. At one point I was drinking socially and smoking almost every day. I tried mushrooms and enjoyed them. If I'd had easier access I would have done more of them. I had a friend who was dealing coke for a while. Since I could get it cheap from him I did it a bit. When we parted ways I dropped that expensive habit. I haven't done many pills. Although I did have surgery one time and the doc prescribed dilaudid. Wow that stuff was wild. It removed all pain and I remember laying in bed on my side with drool coming out of my mouth and running down my cheek and thinking this was as good as it gets. Of course at that point I had been in so much pain I am sure it skewed my thinking. After that experience I can see how some people get addicted to morpheme or other depressant drugs.
Personally, I think experimenting with drugs is alright if the person is certain they have the will power to stop doing them or the strength to get help if they can't stop themselves. Experimenting with drugs made me realize they are a dead end.
