"You are all thinking of attacking this thing? What if it can shoot things from it's mouth? All it needs to do is move beyond our ranged weapons and shoot at us. I think we should go back into the castle and wait. Or go back down to that other level and see if we can find anything else out from inside.
At the very least we should start moving back towards shelter...air attacks when we are on an open walkway are not easy to repel. Who is coming with me back to the door? If we move slowly and keep an eye on the creature we should be no worse off if it comes at us."
That said Thantos moves over beside D'Aleen and whispers.
"D'Aleen, it is just not in my nature to attack such a creature without cause. Surely you must feel the same thing? If we leave it be perhaps none of us or it will have to die today."
(OOC: I'll be out of the house for the rest of today and tommorrow (a mini-vacation of sorts with my wife). Feel free to use me as you'd like if this thing attacks. I have my crossbow ready and have a sword and can cast Web and stick to walls...cheers all, be back on Friday).
