You have to boot from a floppy and delete or rename the .sys file then your computer will boot up and rebuild the file. Caused me about 3 days of pain before I found the culprit. Evidently it is a common problem so if it hasent happened to you yet, it will eventually.

By the way, what file is it that you have to rename? I had my system file corrupted the other day and was nearly screwed...fortunately I was able to recover from a couple of /windows/repair system files that were available....only now my registry is very out of date and I have issues with a lot of programs...
Thanks!
