This is not Soviet Russia, people

Lets say there WAS in fact a touch-screen sensor in your television set. Can it really be used to see into your room, unless you REALLY like your TV and decide to get up close and personal with it?

In general, I seriously doubt that anything useful can be recorded by looking AT the people in front of the TV. Everything they need to know is already in their hands - they know your name, address, and credit history from your cable bill, your TV viewing behavior recorded and transmitted by the set-top boxes, and heck, they probably even know your demographic.

Why go to such unreasonable lengths just to LOOK at you? I, for one, disbelieve this silliness.
