I think there are probably more yankee haters than lovers, even in NJ, the remnants of the Brooklyn Dodgers and NY Giants left 2/3 of fans choosing a new team, and most picked the Mets...
Now that the Yankees are winning every year (kind of) they're getting more younger fans though
