Sure, he did an excellent job with Pee Wee's Big Adventure and the Batman flicks, but Planet of the Apes? What a piece of shit. Not to mention the disaster that was the Superman comeback. Dropping Kevin Smith's script and bringing in Nic Cage as Superman? WTF?
Leave Wonka alone Tim. Go make another great Batman flick (please, wrestle the francise away from Schumacher. Please!) or make somthing on your own like Nightmare Before Christmas, but don't screw around with Wonka. The original is just fine as it is.

Hey Troublebot I'm against the tide with you as well. Leave this movie alone. Burton's first Batman and Pee Wee are classics but lately his shit has been stinkin up the screen. Tell Burton to go make a movie where he can showcase his girlfriend's ample assests (again)but leave Charlie Bucket alone.
