No, this isn't a gay thread.
I am very lucky to live in an area that has many orchards nearby. It's harvest time for peaches and they are amazing. One thing I've noticed is peaches and apples are sweeter on the bottom than on the top. I haven't notice this with other fruit, but my fruit choices are pretty limited.
So, can anyone tell me why apples and peaches taste sweeter on the bottom half of the fruit than on the top half? Is fructose heavier than the rest of the 'fluids' in a fruit?
