Well I just tried it, and the post-itching has been tolerable. I did use the Halx suggestion of Vaseline (we are talking the petroleum jelly right?), and it minimized the itching a bunch. I'm going to try and redo it tonight. Unfortunately I won't really be able to try the better sensation thing until my wife gets off her period (probably around Sunday).
