Hi Booyah,
Yeah... been there, done that... So you have my sympathy. I know how it can hurt, and how frustrating it is for you - how rejected and inadequate you'll feel just now.
Life
DOES go on. You
WILL meet someone else. In the long run it is for the best.
Incidentally, as a "New Divorcee" you are required to do the following things more or less in the following order.
1. Hook up with an ex-girlfriend - one that you came close to marrying. Have intense affair which involves jumping into bed too soon. Spend 6 weeks saying "If Only" to her & then dump her as you realise just why you didn't marry her in the first place
.
2. Purchase unfeasibly powerful sports / muscle car.
3. Have numerous one night stands including AT LEAST ONE with (i) a female under 21, and (ii) a female over 40.
4. have intense affair with an 18 year old & think you're recapturing your youth. Then dump her having learned that there IS a "Generation Gap" as it slams you right in the face. Still, she was fun and a good ego trip for a while.
After that you'll be more or less ready to settle down again
. Of course, you may want to spend some time repeating steps 3(i) & 4 numerous times, just to make sure you get it right
.
Good luck,
Mike.
