I believe that some porn is more societally acceptable. It seems to me that the more you care about your own sexual pleasure and the less you take time to really love and be loved, the more likely you are to indulge in porn that society rejects. So if someone lives for porn, they'll get more kinky.
On the other hand, I don't know how you'd set strict levels. What feels daring and fun to one person is boring or nightmarish to another.
