Okay, so here's the situation. I'm at a bar for lunch with some friends. We're sitting near the door of the place. Everybody that walks in looks at me. They don't look at anyone else at the table, not the hot blonde, not the hobbit looking dude, me...they look at me. Not just a glance mind you, but a full fledged stare.

I didn't say anything to anyone because I just thought I was having an acid flashback or something. The next time we went out, same group, the same thing happened. Different place than before. Again, I said nothing, because let's face it...even I thought I was fucked in the head.

We went to the same bar the third day as we had the first and it was happening again. I mentioned something this time. I said, "They're all looking at me...everyone that comes in is staring at me. Do I have anything on my face?!??" Of course this resulted in them sliding away from me and concerned looks. I assured them that I wasn't crazy and convinced them to watch and see for themselves.

The next group of three businessmen that walked in stared right at me and ignored them. My friends called it chance. Then it happened with the next group, a family on vacation taking in the sites of Beantown. Each of them looked at me longer than is normal. My friends were stunned as they watched just about everyone that walked in do the same thing.

They readily admitted that I was in fact being stared at and that each of them would have been just as uncomfortable. I mentioned it to my wife and she thinks that it's funny. She admits it happens to me too. We figure that I must have a familiar face or something. Either that or I'm a freakshow. I'm hoping I just seem familiar to people.
