go to any movie/music/game shop and tell them you need a cleaning kit for the lens INSIDE the ps2, not the games.
i got a cd that's had little brush. put it in.. play. stop. all is good.
i'm on my second ps2 now and had some amazingly fucked up issues so i've done about anything imaginable with my old one.
tell me if it doesn't work!
oh yeah. these kits are cheap. i wouldn't pay over $15 or so. i think mine was $7
