Roots, Talib Kweli, 2PAC, BTNH, Tribe, Mod Def, Dead Prez, Black Eyed Peas, Public Enemy.

I don't like much mainstream rap, except for DMX. IMO, DMX is the best popular rapper (wonder where he's been lately). He didn't really go into the whole "bitches/money" thing and just flows with such raw power.

And this is coming from the biggest metal-head from the world's most right-winged, retirement community.
