I love volleyball so much I tattoed it on my arm in case I ever develop amnesia and forgot how much I loved it.

I've been playing for about 14 years, off and on, since high school. I started out playing tennis but fell in LOVE with volleyball. I love everything about the game, thinking about it, talking about, drawing it, getting a tattoo of it, watching it, and especially PLAYING it. My favorite is 2's on sand. I started out indoor, but came to love playing on sand.

Throughout the years, I have had the opportunity to help others learn the game, coach intramural teams, learn new skills, and met many incredible people from all walks of life. I love volleyball so much that it once cured my 101 degree fever because I got up out of bed to play it! Now THAT's insane!

I started out setting, but realized pretty quickly that I would rather be a hitter. I'm proud to say that although I'm short (5'5") compared to other male players, I often hold my own and have, together with my sand partner, beaten some impressive teams in tournaments. Gotta love that.
