Any of you other single people tried speed dating? That is an event with other singles and you get a few minutes with each of the members of the opposite sex before a bell rings and you have to move on.

I went to my first one this week. It was enjoyable, but it became a blur about half way through. You take notes and then submit a list of those you would like to get to know better. They do the same, and in a few days you get an E-mail with those who chose you also.

At the end, I was not sure how many I should mark as a yes. After 4 or 5 minutes I felt like quite a few still had potential. If you mark too few, you might not get a match. If you mark too many, you won't be able to follow up with all of them in a reasonable time. (With my schedule it can take a couple of weeks to fit in a date).

I was just wondering what experience others might have had.
