HP/Compaq ones are pretty good imho, we have 2 across my family, both very new.
Both blazing' 2.66GHz's, ATI Radeon, 40GB HDD's CD-RW/DVD Combo drive, wireless lan ready, 15' screen, and 192mb of DDR-RAM, and kick-ass JBL pro speakers.
